Polymaleic Acid

• Low molecular weight polymaleic acid dispersant, 50% actives, often called HPMA internally, but more often PMA externally
• Suited for harsher conditions than lower cost polyacrylates can handle; often formulated with PBTC (Mayoquest 2100)
• Applications include cooling water, desalination, mining (Cu, Au/Ag)
• Sugar beet/cane processing (evaporator antiscalant)
